Certainly if he wants to sign before the other two scholarships are filled...great. But they should be (surely they are) going hard after other options as well at this point. This one ain't happening.
I'm sure all the other teams feel this way. If he wanted to be at Sparty then he would already be there. Same with Zona. I don't think anyone knows including Tugs where he's going. He claims he's waiting for til his guts finally tells him a college is right but some of the times your gut never gives you an answer. Might as well flip a coin

Well, in MSU and Arizona's case, Bridges came back and there are reports that Izzo told Bowen to take a hike. As for Arizona, they got Trier back and Cam Johnson became available so it's quite possible Miller is slow playing Bowen. It definitely seems like he's slow playing us....

Recruiting is so much like dating it's nuts. If a guy thinks he's outkicking his coverage, he'll put up with just about anything. Then after their window closes they realize they were the 'beta' guy in her eyes the whole time.

I'm totally with Gtmo on this one. Hopefully the staff sees it in a similar fashion. Since we are pot committed on Tugs, keep on him, but if the LA kids want to show, slam the door, because we need to act as if our scholarships have some cachet and aren't things we will hold for a recruit's plan F.

And, +1000 for Izzo if he really did do that.

Comparing recruiting to dating has always seemed weird to me... but to each their own.

The UConn board is having this same discussion about Waters. Worth a read if you have a couple minutes.

Plan B: is the Nawlins duo. Have to sit out 2017-18, but excellent talent. Fills all open billets.

Take whichever plan accepts 1st.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dunkum gets put on scholarship the 2nd semester if we don't sign 2 more recruits this spring. I read where Dunkum said a while back that the plan was for him to receive a scholarship this summer. I believe this was a quote by him months ago. Dunkum could surprise everyone how he has improved since last playing a couple or years ago or so. Don't get me wrong, he has to earn that scholarship.

Dunkum will not be getting a scholarship. If the staff thinks he has earned one they would not have landed Suarez.
