This afternoon, Rival's analyst Corey Evans tweeted that the longer Bowen waits on a decision, the better it might get for Creighton and Michigan State.

For what it's worth...

Lol that was me who asked him that question btw, good catch vivid. He also said he thinks Zona is the slight favorite still but that Creighton and MSU (like mentioned above) have been making up ground fast. I personally have a great feeling about this one and I'm usually more pessimistic on these things. Except for Chris Clarke that is I was wrong on that one.

Tugs and #1 La Lumiere are playing #2 Findlay Prep on ESPN3 currently. Up 17 in the 3rd, Bowen and Creighton target Tyger Campbell are playing great.

247 Sports has changed Creighton from having a 0% chance to 6%. I think we have a really good shot at Tugs personally but they haven't asked me.

FWIW, the increase to 6% is from one new prediction. Creighton has 1/18 total predictions there. The guy that predicted Tugs to the Jays has been correct on his predictions only 59% of the time. That being said, these predictions seem to be wholly inaccurate a good percentage of the time. I personally agree with you that I too have started to become really optimistic on our chances of landing Tugs at this point. Also worth noting we'd jump to the #11 2017 class on 247 if we did land him.

...and in the 11-14 range on the ESPN class list with Tugs.

I'm always so amused by the recruiting services saying stuff like "X program is making up ground fast" as if they have an exact reading into the recruit's mind and it's some sort of physical race for eyes to see. Nobody knows what the kid is thinking.

ESPN: Who can make a move in 2017 class rankings?

Creighton mention at the bottom of the article, irt to Tugs.

Others: Michigan (No. 26), Creighton (No. 32) and Oklahoma (NR) could see a boost if they land their top remaining target: Bamba, Bowen and Young, respectively. All three schools have a legitimate shot at each, too.
