Jays -6 tonight. X is playing much better than their record shows as they've played a very difficult conference schedule so far.
This is a game both teams need to win.

X is playing well now that they are healthy. However, CU wins this one in a nail bitter, Kalk continues to dominate the defensive end. GO Jays

I think the two biggest keys tonight are Kalk and our guard/wing defense. We need Kalk to assert himself on both ends -- I don't think X has a good answer for him if he plays aggressive. And they've got a handful of guys who are averaging double figures right now at the guard/wing spots, so we need our defense there to keep them relatively in check. Freemantle will likely find a way to get his, so we need to keep those others in check.
(And, of course, we need to not have a vs-Nebraska shooting night at home again)

Freemantle has not shot the 3 well this year. I sure hope he doesn’t find it tonight.
Also, it will be interesting to see how many minutes Fedor gets against a very competitive team.

CHI Center, where visitors who are struggling with their shooting go to get healthy

None of Creighton’s 4’s will be able to shut down Swain, who is an amazing athlete. On the other hand, X is poor at defending the pick-n-roll. Should be a high scoring game.

Yes. That guy makes me nervous, too. He doesn’t shoot the 3 well. I wonder if Kalk could guard him for a time.
He is 6’8” and shoots 57% on field goals but only 27% from 3.

Green has shown he is capable of defending athletic, strong 4s. I'm confident that a good defensive performance from him with a home crowd is more than enough to shut Swain down; time will tell.
