Well, don’t think he visited Omaha so I don’t think a Creighton commit is in order.

May be the best long range sniper in college ball. 49.8% from 3 at Dayton last year. Long list.

Seeing star players no doubt already getting paid at least well if not really well at places like Duke hitting the portal just makes me realize …. This is every Spring for the rest of time …. Half the players in college hoops moving around for a bigger bag every year. Year after year after year after year after year…………. Won’t need to worry about finding more room in the rafters to retire jerseys in that world.

Mac won’t stick around long in that world. Golfing 250 rounds per year instead has to look appealing.

Portal mania. I was thinking the same thing, kids will have played for three school by the time they graduate - nobody will even remember what schools they played for. NCAA is now pure free agency, heck even the pros have some limits and rules on free agency.

Carny on Twitter / X with a cryptic post that seems to suggest something about Mac and Micah Parish of San Diego State.

Couldn't players forming a union potentially change that? We have meetings between the employer schools and a players union that would set up rules? Things like 2 year contracts or salary caps?

With us going after 2 veteran guards in the portal it makes me wonder
A.Mason is becoming the sixth man next year!
B.Ash isn’t coming back
C. Someone is going to transfer we were not expecting.

Wouldn't be mad about getting a guy from a school like SDSU. Looks like he struggled a little bit last year offensively, but SDSU typically isn't a team that lights it up on that end of the floor. He was there for two years, so I'm guessing he's used to play good, physical defense.
