I read that school administrators asked Krissa to leave. Apparently, he was not well-liked on the team either. I don't think he would fit our culture.

My niece attends Arizona and she said the same thing about him (not well liked, bad teammate) when he was there.

I also remember some sort of suspension for taking impermissible benefits while at AZ. Zona wanted him out too even before that news broke. I think the dude is pretty unbearable to be around despite a decent skill set.

He seemed to act like an asshat in Maui, and acted the same way the only other time I saw him against Princeton in the tourney. I think CU would 100% avoid him.

He definitely has a rep and it seems at least partly earned

Just as an alternate example, Marcus Foster had detractors before he came here, but was a great teammate and player for us, but the problems he had at KState were different and Foster talked a lot about what he'd learned from the experience

Marcus also did not have problems with multiple teams

Yep

There's a great article and interview of Foster about this after he ended up at Creighton. He was really up front talking about it, and it went into his mother talking to Mac, and Mac's thought process in talking to him when he was deciding to transfer. Ended up thinking a lot more about all of them after reading it

Musty dusty recall of CU interest out of high school? Hard to keep track.

Think about this….

363 D1 teams. If all 363 have a full 13 scholarships outstanding (not reality but don’t know how you check) that’s 4719 D1 scholarship athletes. I would think there are 1000 seniors out of eligibility (again, not sure how you check, with upcoming being the last Covid year perhaps less).

That is 1308 portalites out of 3719 scholarship players … more than 1 in 3. Wow.

1448 and counting.
