Didn't realize that AY was an interim coach at UNK for the whole season. Just saw where a local HS guy got the job.

Just looked up record. 5-22 including 17 straight losses. Oof.

Hopefully he lands on his feet somewhere.

He's been an assistant there for a while. They parted ways with the head coach shortly before the season started, so he had to step in. That Lofton was still the coach up until that point was a surprise for a lot of people considering the state of the program (which is reflected in the record).

Marty Levinson isn't a local HS guy. He's been a really successful JUCO coach the last several years at three different schools. He's from Nebraska and has a ton of ties. That's a really good hire for them.

Marty played 2 years at Grand Island High and then his last 2 years at Bellevue West, graduating from West in 2000. He played part of his college days at UNK.

To what? Him entering the portal? I thought that was a pretty obvious thing that was going to happen. Or do you mean smoke to CU interest?

The only way there could be Bronny interest would be the Miller family connection as Mike Miller is tight with Lebron from what I’ve seen.

I can't seem to find it, but I saw some hoops analyst handicap the top potential landing spots for Bronny. At least 15 schools were listed - I think Ohio State was at the top. Oregon was in there (Nike?). A few smaller schools. Creighton's name wasn't included.

The Miller connection is interesting though. This happened.

One of LeBrons best friends and his high school point guard just got the head job at Duquesne- I'd imagine that is an obvious landing spot if he's ok not playing for a brand
