Tough day all around. Playing and coaching. We gotta stop with the slow starts. It happens far too often.

Wasn't thrilled with our D approach and going into the game saying "oh well, they are going to get 15-20 wide open ball screen looks because that's their game, and let's just hope for the best" That didn't really work out for us.

We didn't lose because of the refs.

Johnnies have decent players, in spite of what Rick says. They just weren't buying what he was selling. Apparently today it's ice cream. Everybody loves ice cream.

Trap games are called that for a reason. Teams have let downs, road games are tough, and other teams are fighting to make the tourney

Problem is the Tourney SJU is making is the NIT

Hope we don't play them in the BE tourney, but otherwise don't care much

We played like crap, but I won't be disappointed to get to the NCAA tourney and away from this crap officiating on the road in the BE

Agree. I could give a flying f@ck about this game. Jays will be dancing and Johnnies will be watching. They are an underperforming unathletic team (said Rick)

Not complaining about Baylor….he had his worst game of the year by far. No way we could win this game with him not playing at least decently.

Refs were standard Big East. St. John's was definitely the better team today. Only Trey and Kalk had reasonable games.

GG Johnnies.

They were better, but as you said, this is standard BE, and that's a problem. Only rarely do you see a game called like this in any other conference and only rarely in the NCAA Tourney

BE road games for us will ALWAYS be teams initiating contact and daring the refs to make the calls
