We're not a good 3 point shooting team, outside of Mason really. Around 30% during conference play, 2-8 to start today. On pace to take 30 of them. By all means, let it fly.

When is the last time trey has hit one of those open 3’s? Feels like it’s been forever

This has been the repeated message for over a month now and it doesn’t seem likely.

30% in BE play. Not likely to change much.

The thing about the 3s (at least today) is you have to continue taking them, they have been WIDE open. Not even the late in the shot clock, kinda got to heave it shots. 3 or 4 haven't even had a defender within 5 feet of the shooter and they've still been bricks. Just not going to win a bunch of competitive games missing those.

He's had an awful year from 3 PT range. His 2 PT shooting has been up and down, but he's still shooting better from 2 than he did last year.

I'd be less worried if his shot looked good, but right now his 3 PT shot doesn't look good either

Agreed, everything comes off super flat from his hands, looks like tired legs always. Which might be the case considering how much he dribbles around the perimeter going no where a lot of possessions.

Great how often we're getting shots for Kalkbrenner.

Downside is the refs are letting this one get really ugly in terms of contact, but so far we're matching them and standing up to their physical play

Keep feeding Kalkbrenner, especially if they're not going to double. Every single possession.

His drop off in shooting feels as bad as Dingman's did after his freshman year. Hopefully he can recover but it's bad right now.
