A team is only as good as your guards take you. This team isn’t making any sort of run if bello is your point guard down the stretch.

Stop please. Those guys have not looked impressive this year (but R2 could help). What is up with Trey?

They are playing on new teams...always an adjustment. Trey almost certainly benefited from their presence on the floor. I stand by what I think is a pretry obvious assessment: this team is MUCH better if they had those 2.

Cant do nothing about them wanting out. I’m more concerned why we went for johnthan Lawson (if he ended up riding the bench) instead of a proven slasher to replace art. Did even need to find a starter but a Mahoney 6th man type player who gets to the rim etc to take the pressure off Trey.

In a funny twist of events based on last season...we'd be absolutely fucked if we didn't have Farabello. We literally can't play Ashworth down the stretch because he's such a defensive liability, has severe limitations due to his size and lack of athleticism, and can't create his own shot. At least Farabello doesn't hurt you. That's where we are at.

I hear ya in that there was nothing anyone could do about it. Just lamenting the "what if" in the shadow of another very ugly loss.

Getting absolutely out coached in the second half would be something you’d think would happen less with experience

I again must bring up. Mac needs to develop Jason green . Every time he’s on the floor he brings a grit that will help in games like this. Yea he may not hit shots yet. But I feel he will bring something to the 3 and 4 that will help in these big East games.

Why do we always insist on dribbling down to 6 seconds on the shot clock and throwing up prayers at game end situations? McDermott has a solid system. Run it.

Trey is being asked to do too much and is pressing. FF is a nice complimentary player but has limitations against most opponents' backcourts. Ashworth can't create space or get the ball into lane and force help and create space for good looks for others. So Trey is pressing because he is being asked to do it all. That's what is up with Trey.

Agree on being outcoached. And I'd never expect it from Kyle Neptune. Jay Wright he's not.
