UNLV has some talent, but it seems like the whole has been less than the sum of the parts so far. Jalen Hill and Kalib Boone were multi-year starters at OU and Oklahoma St, respectively. Luis Rodriguez and Isaiah Cottrell were occasional starters at Mississippi and West Virginia. Shane Nowell is an Arizona transfer. Dedan Thomas was a top recruit and has been one of the better freshman point guards so far this season. However, Nowell has been out with an injury, and Hill missed the last game (and probably will miss more) with a wrist injury. Keylan Boone (Kalib's twin brother) is also a good player, but is waiting for an NCAA ruling on his eligibility after transferring for the second time.

UNLV has been especially bad at defending the 3-point line this season. The Jays should be able to handle them as long as they avoid a CSU-like shooting performance.

Tough to play essentially a road game that ultimately qualifies as neutral site, thus making it a Q4 contest. Hopefully we can take care of business and get some rest ahead of a huge nonconference finale vs. Alabama.

Yeah this one didn't out the best from a scheduling standpoint.

Mac sighting at the main resort bar. Met some nice Jays fans I did not know before. Resort is nice, but dated. Skip the Italian joint. Go Jays!.

If you go through the casino and exit by the cinemas, you will find a bunch of stores and restaurants nicely decorated for the holidays.

I’ve stayed here a few times.

Yeah, we met a great guy from Sioux Falls whose son rooms with Mason Miller. He just had to tell my wife about the shopping and the LuLu Lemon store. Thanks, mate!
