At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Trey was one of the players Mac brought to the luncheon yesterday. He looked fine and acted perfectly normal in every way. Nothing was said about him not playing in today's game. He was, however, on the receiving end of Mac's humor several times that had Trey and everyone else laughing!
