Primer for Oklahoma State looks at the Cowboys, and at the Jays' intense practices this week as they try to get back on track. After talking to people who've been at practice since the return from KC, I feel pretty confident in saying that if CU loses it will not be because the other team played tougher or with more energy. Mac really got after the guys this week. While he's been calm publicly, he clearly saw some things on film that bothered him.

I think CU wins and covers the 7.5 spread.

If he didn't see things on film that bothered him, we'd have a massive problem. Because there was absolutely a drop in energy and focus almost across the board in those KC games. Hoping it's largely chalked up to illness going through the team and not just a potential for this group to get lackadaisical -- they have the potential to be elite, but they aren't just so good that they can afford to take nights off and expect to win.

maybe a little bit of a mental let down too

last year - playing IN hawaii against the elite of the elite teams

this year - driving down to KC to play a couple of middle of the road teams

good lesson that we always have to be prepared and bring it - especially when away from the CHI
