I can worry about all sorts of things at the same time, and I've got plenty of room to worry about whether the corndogs will break one of the most wonderful streaks in college sports. In fact, I hope to 1) stop worrying about it some time Friday; and 2) start worrying about it all over again the next time they make the tourney field in, say, 2035.

You're assuming FAU gets left out. Not sure I'd be confident of that. They absolutely should, but not sure they will.

FAU isn't getting left out. The bid steal will be UAB or Temple stealing a big from someone like Seton Hall or Providence.

^^^ This. Not sure what RH read in my post. Good chance FAU takes a BE spot.

FAUs resume IS pretty thin with a number a really bad losses but they were last year’s darling and they won’t get left out most likely.

Ouch. A Kent State player just screwed up and intentionally fouled with his team up 1 with 5 seconds left. Akron won the game at the FT line as a result.

Just an epic screwup that they couldn't recover from. He must have thought they were behind by a point instead of ahead by one. He was really beating himself up on the bench, literally, afterwards. I sometimes wonder about a carryover effect from something like that, not just in sports but in real life. That could mess him up for a while.

And now I remember where I know DJ Horne from, He's NC State's hero tonight, but he wasn't always. He was a real pain in the ass for us those two straight years we lost to Arizona St.

On Monday, Long Beach St fired their coach of 18 years. No warning, just booted his ass, effective with their next loss. They haven't lost since, and now they're in the tournament. Awkward.
