Well, face it, they’re gonna have a decent chance whether they’re a playing a 7, 8 or 9. Several mocks have ‘em playing Boise. No. No, no. I want TAMU. I want drama. And it they lose, I want to see Herbie’s head explode.

Feels like a Nebraska win probably helps our metrics a bit because of our blowout of them in Lincoln.
Feels like a Nebraska win helps out our lock on a three seed and maybe positioning amongst the three seeds because Illinois is right in there with us.

But -- a Nebraska win means a Nebraska win, and I'm just not able to want that without throwing up in my mouth.

EDIT: So far in the first half, Mast is going all Eric Dixon and bombing threes and providing Nebraska's only reliable scoring, but Illinois does not seem to have a clue how to defend him. Illinois also looks terrible on the offensive end so far just chucking up contested threes and missing.
.

I’m with you. But, bright side, they might be playing their way into a 7. Normally, I’d hate that, but if A&M can land a 10, which looks increasingly possible, then that could be a 1st round matchup. Maybe even Marquette would get winners.

I'm in a weird spot on this too, but I think I'm pulling for Nebraska today (absolutely not rooting for them tomorrow). The possible Nebraska-A&M in Omaha would be hilarious and good for my ticket resale opportunities if Creighton is playing in the same window, but I only think that can happen if they win today. Plus I think A&M would handle Nebraska

Giving a worse seed a pseudo home game should never, ever, ever happen.

There are way worse things in life to worry about than the fate of that team.

No worries -- but you look for a little smile when teams you like win, you look for a little smile when teams like that lose. Just sports, you know.

And yeah, the possibility of Nebraska playing here is equally conflicting. Great news if you have tickets and want to sell them. But disgusting prospect of being in that arena to watch them play against a team with a better seed and the throngs of Husker fans everywhere.

Great to see the Fuskers blow a 15 point lead in the second half and lose by 11! Ha!

Woah! Iowa State is blowing out Houston 55-28 with about 7 left.
