Supposedly injured, but given that he’s not getting along with Jerome Tang according to a couple of reporters who cover K-State, the rumor mill is going crazy down in Manhattan about ulterior motives.

So that’s going well.

Creighton looks like a better team without Kaluma, his ability on defense is outweighed by the offense will Miller/Traudt being good enough shooters and Baylor and Trey getting the ball more, who are far more efficient.

I really don't understand why everyone thinks Kaluma was such a badass on defense. He was athletic enough. But he had the same issues there that he did with the offense... Huge peaks and valleys in his performance because of his tendency to have peaks and valleys. Sometimes he looked great. Sometimes he looked lost. Kinda like a box of chocolates.

Watched a fair amount of the KState - Providence game. Kaluma was about as blueprint Kaluma as you could imagine. He scored well for the first time this year against a team he was familiar with. He made some great and timely crucial plays. He also looked like a deer on ice skates a lot when trying to dribble and go one on one. And then with about 10 seconds left and the game tied, he got the ball to go for KState's last shot, tried to dribble from the wing and turned it over to give Providence the last chance. But then in OT he hit a back breaker wide open three. Peaks and Valleys is a pretty good nickname, really.

OJW, did Kaluma guard Hopkins? Because Hopkins, who is a very talented player, went 2 for 15? I didn’t get to watch the game.

18 points and 7 rebounds yesterday, but two assists to seven turnovers.

K-State getting taken to the woodshed by Miami today.
