It was either a hyperextension or a bruise I’ve seen both so far.

Good for Art! If you have a bum knee and have sit on the bench at least you get to pick up some hardware for the ever expanding trophy case!
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

I don't know much about bone bruises. Is it up to Arthur when he plays again? "Coach the pain is gone lets go"? Is there a risk if he goes back too soon?

If there was no ligament/cartilage damage on the MRI (which, sounds like there wasn't from public comments, anyway) then return would be dictated by pain and swelling (or absence thereof).

In the press conference yesterday, Coach Mac said there is a risk if Kaluma returns too early.

My two cents (worth maybe two cents) is Art will be held back until the stretch run into March. These next two are pretty heavy underdogs on the road. Save him for the more winnable home games (against physical teams) and the BE tourney.

I have no inside knowledge, just speculating.

Art wants to play. I would estimate 50-50 for Wednesday.

I would not be surprised if AOC’s status impacts Art’s timetable. If AOC is able to go reasonable normal speed and minutes, you can play it more cautious with Art. If AOC is out, you may have to get Art on the floor quicker just to have enough bodies to play.

Mac made a comment on Nick Bahe's podcast today that they are 'trying to get Arthur back,' for the next set of games. Matches up with the speculation that it's up in the air but close.
