Headed to Kansas St as a 1 and done. He’ll get a chance to go up against preseason #1 Kansas twice. He won’t fit there. Feels like a “settled” for situation. My guess is that he severely burned bridges at Creighton. I’m hoping for the best for him. He gave a lot to the Jays. But I’m betting he took a pay cut and had to commit without “feature” promises. Hopefully, he’ll be ready to advance after the upcoming season.

I think he will do well there. As far as CU goes, we basically traded 1 year of Kaluma for 3-4 years of Traudt.

I don't know everything they have on the roster now, but this seems to make sense. With some of the blue bloods he was talking to, I thought he'd be treated like a role player and not given a very good role to develop in. At least here, he should be a rotation guy, and their coach has done some good work with transfers in the past. Good luck to him

Torvik has K State as #41 for the upcoming year, so the cupboard was perhaps a little bare after an elite 8 appearance last year.

Coach Tang @ Kansas State is a good one. I believe he will be able to get the best out of Arthur Kaluma. I hope it all works out for both sides.

Kansas State is basically replacing Markquis Nowell and Keyontae Johnson with Tylor Perry and Kaluma. F/C Nae'Qwan Tomlin is their best returning player. Cam Carter and David N'Guessan are returning role players. Jarrell Colbert and Taj Manning are frontcourt players coming off redshirts. They signed two 4-star guards and a 3-star wing in their 2023 class.

Seems like as good of a fit as any. He'll slot in as a starting 3 or 4 for them.
