Not that it really matters, but Creighton was dissed pretty badly in the Oral Roberts non-conference schedule release:

http://oruathletics.com/sports/mbkb/201 ... 0901hdxzab

TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team has once again put together one of the toughest nonconference schedules in the country, it was announced this week as the team released its full schedule for the 2016-17 season. Highlighting the nonconference schedule are games against Baylor, Ole Miss, Michigan State and Oklahoma.

I guess a game against a top-25 team isn't something as a highlight.

Then you go through the rest of the release and there is no mention of the game in Omaha, just the potential game at the Paradise Jam. Not sure why you wouldn't highlight that game even though it is on the road--just like Baylor, Ole Miss, Michigan St. & Oklahoma.

Anyway just thought it was funny.

Does anyone know what day the Big East schedule comes out? I know in the past they have announced the schedule around Labor Day weekend so I would assume any day now.

Marquette in at #69 here, good for 8th in the BE. Illinois State in at #75, good for 2nd in the Blow Valley.

Just wow. Move to the BE came just in time.

It's pretty ugly over there on MVCFans without us, Wichita trolls have turned their angst to the Evansville fan base, "You must get to the post-season or go back to D-2"... although WSU still wants to leave for the MWC. Soooo so sad.

Very interested in seeing TV schedule. Wonder if us being a fringe top 25 team helps us land a FOX TV slot, probably wishful thinking.

Also per Holy Land of Hoops, a Marquette poster said there was a link on their ticket site that has since been taken down that we will play Marquette at Marquette on Saturday, March 4th at 1:30 PM

Full schedule comes out at 11am, but here's two games we know for sure -- the conference opener at home vs Seton Hall on December 28, and a MLK Day matinee at Xavier. First weekday afternoon game since that forgettable blizzard game at Bradley in 2010, and first scheduled weekday afternoon game...ever? I can't recall one. I get not wanting to compete with college football on NYE, but I'm not a fan of afternoon games during the week.
