Big news on the tournament going official. I know nothing about those programs next year, but Georgia is far and away the class of that field as it stands today. Clemson and UMass have been up there before, however.

I like it. Quality opponents but a potentially winnable tournament.

The best part:

"The games will be on ESPN networks."

So sounds like we'll be playing either Clemson or Georgia first since those two already play each other in the non-con. I don't know much about either team. I rarely watch ACC or SEC basketball.

Someone please alert the Gaughan family.

Let's hope ESPN has the updated logo by then.

They did last year when we had our school name and a number next to it scrolling across the bottom line.

wee bit disappointed that there isn't at least one marquee opponent

georgia and clemson are football schools - and i don't know that they have much fan support

can't remember last time either finished in top 25

UMass is good mid-major that does have good support.
