Still can’t believe we lost to the skers. They are not a good team. And like mentioned above, the Big Ten 10 will prob have 10 teams in the tournament and probably 7 will lose in the opening round. Big 10 is way overrated

I hate to be conspiracy but was Kalk sick again? He played terrible against them. Only 4 points, no touches really and his D was meh against their mediocre centers .

New Jerseys/uniforms are interesting, and yes, are not legit ‘retro/throwback’ uni’s. The ‘notches’ at the shorts bottoms were also a signature of the 70’s uni’s.

To hear tonight’s broadcasters—Kugler and Bahe, of course—tell it, that was entirely because of the corndogs’ pesky defense. “The best defensive game I’ve seen all season” acc. to Nick (maybe not an exact quote but close). Us launching 42 threes like scud missiles, most of ‘em open and undefended, and making 10 didn’t get a mention.

To my knowledge, that can't happen. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think their language is that nonconference rematches are to "be avoided" but it doesn't sound like it's a hard and fast rule.

They can have non-conference teams that played already meet up in the first round, but generally they try and avoid it. This year with the B1G and SEC getting so many bids we may see more repeat matchups from non-con opponents as they don't allow conference opponents to meet in the 1st round.

If conference teams have played two times then they can't meet until the Sweet 16, three times until the Elite 8. We're probably going to see some quirks in seeding this year as the committee will most likely need to move teams off of their true seed list in order to follow their bracketing principles.
