Great game tonight by Jamiya, he was the catalyst in helping the Jays pull away from the X-Men. He has also finally made me forget about Bryce Nengsu (but not Rodney).

Revisiting the “who does he remind you of” question — that steal + transition dunk tonight is as *also* reminiscent of Damian Jefferson on Mamu.

Good call! The only thing missing was Jamiya doing the “too small” gesture on his way back down the court.

I’d have to go back 13 years ago, to what Echenique did to John Henson, to find a posterization that sweet.

That’s not a player comparison I’m just taking about a single act of poetic justice.
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Good one to bring back out. Also remember R2 posterizing that guy at DePaul out of nowhere when nobody seemed to even know he could get up like that, let alone in traffic and contested.

Like I said -- the Damian Jefferson one on Mamu was the greatest posterization in my memory of live action in that building. Given the circumstances, the opponent, the chippiness vibe at the time. But this one had similarities, to me.

P'Allen over Shang Ping. bonus points bc of the Husker dynamic.

Great dunk by Neal one of the better dunks in CU lore in my opinion. My favorite dunk was Rodney's against Maryland around the turn of the century in the NCAA, but I am bias as Buford was my all time favorite. Neal is really unleashing his potential in our system, I can see him getting a cup of tea in the NBA if he continues to knock down threes.

I was there for that dunk! (Orlando, 1999). Nasty dunk that drew oohs and aahs from the crowd (and pissed off the eternally pissed-off Gary Williams). However, we were well out of the game at that time, and didn't have the same effect as Damien's or Jamiya's.

For the record, Neal ranked that dunk second on his personal list.

First was this one:

Thanks, Jacob. I was wondering what that looked like.
