Kalk didn’t just hold his own, he outplayed Broome.

And intimidated Broom. There were times Broom was afraid to do anything and just kicked that ball back out. I will miss seeing players think they have a clean layup or jam and then shit themselves when Kalk rolled in their way.

Watching this Bama Duke game is something — Bamas performance feels very “Creighton-ish” for an NCAA game. Coming off a historic night of lighting it up from three, and tonight just desperately heaving deep threes and unable to make them. Not playing poorly, but not able to do anything without making threes.

How is Steve Lappas getting Elite Eight games? He is one of the most annoying commentators to me, including guys like Donny Marshall and Jim Jackson. He’s been terrible all tournament.

Moment ago: “Everything going right for the Volunteers. Tennessee up 19-6 on Houston.”

Houston is currently up 19-6 on Tennessee.

Well aware of that. There are far, far better options from those networks. Just surprised they decided to give him one of the two marquee games today.

Broome has 17 points with 17 minutes to go against MSU.

Sure seems like Kalk is deserving of DPOY after Broome only had 8 against us

PS Yes, I know it’s just a couple of data points
