Gutsy win on tired legs - Xavier always gives us a tough matchup, so happy to defend the home court here

Send James Breeding down to NAIA. Maybe the worst official that we regularly see.

Great win by the Jays after short rest, with no legs, against a hot team. The return game at Cintas will be tough for sure.

This, was a gigantic swing in things. Some techs have a major positive swing. That one seemed to be extremely negative for X. They were playing enough D to stay in it, gave up 3 points for free and another basket on the other end of the miss really shifted it from being possession by possession to us getting a little breathing room

They are much better than the record indicates as evidenced by Kenpom. Nice win on short turnaround. Win these next couple and setting up for a nice stretch run.

Our guys have to be so gassed. Maybe most impressive 10 minutes of ball this season in the context of playing against a team with that pace coming off Saturday's game.

there were multiple tangled/tie-up calls like that one that went against Creighton tonight, so a bit bizarre that Miller blows a gasket because our Miller did a really hard blockout on the Xavier guy and got the tie up call against Xavier

Also got to say, love beating X. Them and Marquette always feel good as the newcomers / western based schools with more success since realignment. UCONN is the most fun to beat, but X, Marquette and Nova always feel good. On to the next

The stretch between DePaul and Butler games is going to be super timely.

That’s one good 10-9 team but it’s all iso stuff. Not real pretty.

Agree - if they squeak into the Dance, they're not a team I would want to see in a 6-11 matchup. Can just play balls to the wall for a game and beat a lot of teams. Less shooting than our teams in the end of the MVC era but give similar vibes from a tempo perspective. Nightmare for a team that is used to controlling the pace and let's it get away from them by getting in a quick 10 point hole. We were fortunate to dig outta that tonight
