On the bright side all of this exponentially increases the chances of him coming back.

You can’t get drafted if the point of you being here was to prove you belong there, and you basically don’t get that chance.

15-20 mins sounds about right.

Takes time to get guys incorporated and some chemistry.

you'd hope an experienced pro would have a shorter time line on that. Right now getting MM off the court as much as possible until he starts hitting shots seems like a good thing.

I put together a thread on Fedor's offensive possessions thus far. You can check that out below if you're interested.

Just completed an interview here in Providence with Fedor for our 1620 The Jays podcast.

We talked about his basketball journey, how he started in combat sports, his reaction to the Luka trade and we had him call the play-by-play of Steven's game winner at Villanova in his native language.

A teaser will run on tomorrow (Wednesday's) "Unsportsmanlike Conduct" on 1620 The Zone around 5:15p. The full pod will drop Thursday night. Search 1620 The Jays where you find your podcasts or visit the page from our website.

5 games to go in the regular season. Fedor’s role has slowly expanded. Fedor seems to have moved up to #7 in the rotation after Traudt. His defense and knowing where to be on the floor has greatly improved from game 1.

Miller got a DNP for the last game. I hope Mason is physically ok and gets back to being the best version of himself but there isn’t much time left in this season.

With that said, we could have used more ball handling and scoring off the bench in some of our recent games. Also, the brutal physicality of some of these games suggests a few rest breaks might be good for some of the guys. In a recent game (Marquette?), Neal got in foul trouble and sat for a while. Neal was the difference in the game when he came back with more energy after Fedor spelled him.

I would love to see Fedor take it up another level and help the Bluejays get over the hump of being a very good team, to being a great team.

I think the extra week of prep this week followed by a softer schedule where more minutes should be available will be good for him. We really need Green's toughness and Neal's ability to create so it's been tough to find spots for him. It's a good problem to have though, I can't remember Creighton having a guy off the bench that can blow by someone and dunk on all big east level player. Fedor really would have benefitted from the first 4 games of the season where he could have logged 20+ mpg and figured it out with less pressure.
