First round matchup vs Brown not ideal for SOS since they project as the worst team from the field. Would’ve liked at least some intrigue with a S. Illinois first round tilt. Obviously would want Brown, CSU, Colorado path.

The best news of this tourney is it should give an awesome trip to the guys and help them bond and prepare for BE road life.

CSU is going to be good next year. Returning all 5 starters from a team that barely missed the tourney. Would be a great litmus test early on for our young team against a lot of experience. Also shout out John Tonje, one of their guards who's an Omaha Central kid.

Honestly a bit of a lame field but with such a young and overhauled team, it makes sense as a chance to build confidence, get some ESPN love, and have a great team bonding destination.
