They are in covid protocol, not necessarily tested positive.

I thought I saw a post somewhere on this board that the Jays would be playing a holiday tournament in Virgin Islands next year. Is this true?

I heard a long time ago that it’s St. Thomas, then Maui.

Like baseball, every year.

The fun begins: Seton Hall was supposed to play DePaul and St. John's was supposed to play UConn on Friday, but DePaul and UConn are paused for COVID. So now Seton Hall is going to play St. John's.

Hearing from a couple of places that this is pretty much going to be the plan going forward during league play. Anytime there's two teams that can't play, the Big East will try to get the two that can play to play each other, and then adjust future scheduled games accordingly.

In other words, don't get too attached to any schedule that gets released. It's more of a starting point than a schedule.

Makes sense, Poly. Football is very belatedly cottoning on to the same idea. Just makes too much sense even if it interrupts preparation - it's a crazy year.

Looks like it is all Wednesday/Saturday games on the Jays' schedule after the UCONN game this Sunday. There are some weeklong breaks, but it'll be good to at least have some consistency for the athletes knowing you'll most likely play on those days of the week.

The Jays play 15 conference games before they play Nova and the GoCreighton.com schedule doesn't have the 2nd Depaul game listed. Depaul has it listed as Feb. 24th.

Jays are headed back to the Paradise Jam next season. The field is underwhelming to be charitable: Colorado, Colorado State, Bradley, Southern Illinois, Brown, Northeastern, and Duquesne.

The tourney will be televised on ESPN3 and ESPN+.
