The tournament may no longer have the upside we were looking for, but how are you going to replace those games? You simply can't play games without taking some risk. To replace those games, you still have to bring people from another state that could possibly have been subject to exposure, or go to the other state to play. Heck, going to KS could get us exposed, and then we miss some conference games (though hopefully those could get rescheduled). I don't know if the tournament will be a go or not, but if it is, I think you go play. We need to get some games in ahead of the KS game.

I think the issue is more going to the state with the most uncontrolled virus spread in the country. Team to team spread is probably super rare, it's who they are coming in contact with outside the teams that worries me more. The staff at the hotel and event came immediately to my mind.

Again, to say that SD is soooooo much worse than Nebraska in terms of COVID is ridiculous. We are currently the 5th worst state in cases per capita (SD is #2). We are currently the WORST state in terms of positivity rate (SD is #3). We have the 7th worst infection rate whereas SD is in the 30s. Please stop saying "we should just bring it here", that won't fix anything, as we are just as bad if not worse than Sioux Falls is right now.

This is the point I was going to make.

Nebraska and South Dakota are both in the same Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Omaha isn't any better off than Sioux Falls.

Tourneys after South Dakota. Virgin Islands next year, then Maui, then KC, and the Bahamas. COVID, please go away.

AWESOME!!!!!
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.
