Positives for today - Kalk didn't have a season ending injury

Other positives - it was close even with the Refs giving every advantage to St. Johns. Plus we likely see them get a game called a bit more tight in the Tourney and see them lose w/ Pitino blowing a gasket on the sidelines

STJ’s as they’re allowed to frequently set moving screens and get away with shoving and hacking players, is a really ugly style of basketball to watch.

It’s quite interesting to see slick Rick barking at the refs many times in the game when I recall him in a post game loss to Creighton on his high horse saying he doesn’t work the refs and I think his words about those who work the refs might have been doing so “is almost like cheating” which is pretty rich coming from that dude.

While they are at it, the refs should also help box out and shoot 3s at a better than 25% clip.

Ah, yeah. I got it now. Because Creighton not being able to box out and hit 3’s at a better clip makes the horrific officiating not real and totally irrelevant.

Jays should be favored in every remaining game and honestly can’t afford to blow any of them. But I don’t think SJU wins out. Still a lot of season left with the remaining schedule with SJU / Marquette / UConn.
