Newton voting analysis - "Well, we have to give someone credit for how well they've played. May as well be Newton"

Big help to us possibly getting on the 2 line. Especially if Kolek's status is still uncertain.

And Baylor wasn’t unanimous first team. I’m happy coaches vote for POY or else Baylor probably wouldn’t have a chance.

Well the AP voter from Connecticut had Creighton ranked 16th this week….no bias there.

Interesting that Kolek and Carter were unanimous first team but Newton was not.

Both Lunardi and Bracketville have us as a 2 seed after the weekend. Lots to play for in NYC. Would much rather have a 2 than a 3. Granted you’ll have teams like Gonzaga, MSU, Colorado St, etc that are always lurking at the 7-10, but I’d much rather have that than the 3-6 matchup again.

Or we could drop (unlikely) to a 4 seed and roll through the tournament like uconn last year. I can't get caught up in hypothetical matchups since upsets happen. We should've played Arizona last year instead of Princeton for example. I just know we're sitting pretty right now regardless of this week's results.
