It's not strange that he rode the bench during the playoffs, he is a defensive liability and he never learned to overcome it.
It is a bit strange that he didn't get signed.

I have a friend in Indy who sent me this article after Doug signed with the Pacers the first time. One of my favorite homages to my favorite all-time Jay. I thought it really captured the magic of that year. I don't remember if it was ever posted on TBU. Regardless, it's a great trip down memory lane.
