Does anyone care to make a guess the gross paycheck and benefit difference if Trey was one of the last 10 players picked in the NBA draft and signs a two way contract vs another year at Creighton? I would assume he would make more at Creighton that in any foreign market?

Is there still that hiring an agent thing? Is he able to come back? Does he have an agent?
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Thought I saw a report after Trey's announcement that he had hired a non-approved agent and had officially foregone his senior year.

I thought I saw something on Twitter about 2 weeks ago where Mac said it’s unlikely that Trey is coming back but that he would be welcome back. That suggested to me that he hadn’t hired an agent.

With that said, I couldn’t find where I thought I saw that. I might well be wrong

His agent is Aaron Klevan at the Wasserman Agency; Klevan is NCAA Certified so hiring him does not automatically make Trey ineligible.

But Trey said he was forgoing his eligibility when he declared for the draft, so that means he likely entered some other type of business deal that would preclude him from returning.

Recent, in-depth piece on Trey… predicts late FIRST round pick.

feels about right, but it's hard to guess. He had some games last year (6?) where he looked like a guy who shouldn't be drafted at all, but generally looked like a late first round pick and a few games where he looked like a mid-first round guy as well. Depends on who thinks they can get consistency from him on the next level
