Aimaq is leaving Tech after the latest coaching debacle.

You have to wonder if Johnny Buckets would have carved out a role if he hadn't been hurt midway through his freshman year. Mac has said he would have played him after Reef, R2 went down. He must have thought he could get on the floor if he stayed around around, but seems like Shtolzberg moved ahead of him.

We never really got a good look at JC. I know he was supposedly close to breaking in the rotation last year right before he got hurt. But, good luck to him. He always seemed really engaged on the bench.

Agree - good luck to him. Timing with injuries just didn't work out very well and can understand him looking for more minutes and chances to play.

Attrition is expected, even moreso today with the portal. It's nice to think all 13 scholarship players will contribute, but, barring injuries, it's 8 or 9 at most. That leaves 4 or 5 on the outside.

Good luck to JC, he was part of a team that made history.

I’ll bet he ends up in the WCC next season.

It’s too bad that it didn’t work out at CU for John. He’s a high character young man who works hard at the game. Once a Bluejay, always a Bluejay.

No idea what level of interest is or isn't there, but I know Mac was recently on the phone with a former coach of Curtis Jones (third-team all-MAC at Buffalo). 6-5 off guard. Averaged 15.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists to 1.1 turnovers plus 1.4 steals.
