Reef's announcement got me wondering if the OWH reporter's tweet (1) repeated a transfer rumor and got it wrong, and it should have been Reef or (2) just jumped the gun and Ben's transfer is still coming.

Either way, not a good look.

Like most people on this message board, I bought into Ben and wanted him to stay. That said, our bench was clearly a challenge and he didn’t get a shot. If he could have made a difference, he would have played. Loved Reef as an Omaha guy as well. But this is a business now - we pay guys big dollars in addition to their scholarships. If guys don’t deliver, we need to upgrade in talent. Let’s upgrade. College sports as we once knew it is over.
