GTMO, I get your sentiments. However, not all guys on team should be top 100 guys. I view this guy as a great team player, practice player, guy who will be trusted, in the tradition of Tyler Clement. You need guys like that on a Mac team.

Collin Gillespie was a similarly ranked PG prospect (at least by 247). If CU could get something similar from Ben, that would be beyond fantastic. My money is on the coaching staff having found an underrated stud who will actually be a top 100 rated recruit by the time he steps on campus.

This was a guy Mac identified early and put as a priority. I like that he can do a lot of things on the court. He can shoot from very deep, play PG, but can also play as a wing/point who distributes and scores and can even get into the paint a bit and finish. He's a better athlete than people seem to think, and will get better as he fills out on our S&C program as well. Think Grant Gibbs w/o the series of knee injuries

from the OWH, regardless of rankings, this was the guy the coaches wanted because he fits our system so perfectly. Great way to start the class
