McAndrew- 35
Ty Davis- 67 (that's a MASSIVE jump)
Larry Johnson- 76

As a reminder, the 21 class considered the best in CU history had the following at Rivals:

Kaluma 51
Miller 67
Nembhard 77
Alexander 86

Other points: McAndrew and Johnson were unranked before the last reshuffle appearing in the Top 150 at around 50 from nowhere for LJ and 80 from nowhere for McAndrew. Our coaches seem to be better evaluators of talent than the Internet wonks.

Point of some concern related to immediate help: Ty and Jackson are really thin. Could a Miller-like path be in the cards? WAY too early for that discussion but it’s out there.

It's a little bit easier to be really thin and play/help early at 6'4 and a guard then it is at 6'9. Trey played right away and was rail thin

Hmmm, forgot about the Nitu kid from Canada showing on the CU list. Could he be our mystery international in play? Tall and very thin.

https://www.on3.com/news/christian-nitu ... ghton-tcu/

Edit: Did some digging and it sounds like he got hurt in early 2023. Still getting offers but from the likes of No. Illinois, Indiana State and the like (although a summer offer from Arizona St.).

Not sure what’s up. Sort of has a Chet Holmgren game (play all over the floor) and Chet Holmgren build (Feed him some steaks!).

I was speculating poorly on this one. Obviously the foreign possibility was Oswin and not this kid who ends up in the Blow Valley.

I think this happened awhile back but just noticed Sutton to Georgia Tech. Just info to close the loop.

New 247 rankings out today.
Jays:
McAndrew-36
Johnson- 62 (One of the highest risers, "Johnson will add to Creighton's athleticism and toughness. The four-star wing is a dog on the defensive end. He has explosive athleticism and can slash in the half-court while finishing around the rim with either hand. He is still working on his jumper, but will make a real impact on defense and in transition."
Ty Davis not in the top 150
Other BE recruits:

#29- Ahmad Nowell- UConn (4*, 6'0 180)

#42 Thomas Sorber- Georgetown (4*, 6'9 250)

#55 Kayvaun Mulready- Georgetown (4*, 6'4, 210)

Would that make McAndrews our highest ranking recruit this century? I think Kaluma was in the mid 40’s
