Okay, are the Jays done for this fall? Enquiring minds want to know!

The skinny after this season:

Farabello and Baylor gone for certain. Out of eligibility.
Trey and Kalk almost certainly gone to the pros but technically have another year of eligibility.

McA, LJ and Ty replace the wing spots with McA also sort of a hybrid forward as a Baylor replacement or another 4 (with Traudt a hybrid 4/5?).

Soooo, basically one spot available assuming no defections which is a big assumption in the portal age. Do the Jays focus on the portal in the Spring? Do they keep looking for a big frosh this fall? Hmmmmm

Love our class, wow. The coaches have filled some real needs. Where do they go from here?

Hopefully, they are going to Glendale AZ in March.

Forgot about Ashworth. I believe he is in the class with Kalk that can come back for another year. I would put him as a wildcard to do so depending on his NIL. Thus, there is another spot for the portal or frosh. With two guards coming in I still believe a big may be the next need.

Dude bought a house here.

He's likely making a nice chunk and his NBA fit is pretty unlikely.

I think better than 50/50 he could be here next season.

Hmmm, I wouldn't mind holding the open scholie for 2025. Jays have a slew of 2025 prospects/offers, incl a couple of centers. However, it will be difficult to turn away Betsey or Sutton, should they come this way.

Didn’t see this before but LJs teammate who said earlier he had a visit planned to CU committed to Penn St. the day after LJ committed to the Jays. I also saw gitmo note Betsey and Sutton. In my mind, Sutton was plan B to McAndrew so that offer disappeared after Jackson’s commit. You then saw Sutton taking visits to schools he had no previous connection to. Betsey I’m less sure of and Jays may have still had interest but I see that he is down to two schools per Trilly so Jays eliminated or pulled offer.

Jays seem to be getting guys they want whether top target or perhaps a 1B.

Good info (as always!), thanks

My gut feel is that they're moving onto 2025. I have to imagine that they couldn't be any happier with this class as it is - just a great bunch with complementary skills that all fit within what we want to do almost perfectly
