Modestas, John, and Ben came in and got shuffled behind higher ranked pieces. They weren't going to sit the bench for 3 years behind the stars we have. Sterling can come in and redshirt/develop for a year before potentially seeing an opening for playing time when some of our current starters move along. He may move along after a year or two, but with 2 open scholarships, this is a good piece to add.

while offers can be contingent on a lot of things happening, this makes me think Art may be moving on. Can play in the post and is already a pretty strong kid at 230, but can also step out and hit 3's

I’m confused. Don’t we already have Traudt and Miller for this role

May just be some front court insurance in case Kaluma or Kalk leave or maybe even King

I think Traudt can play the 4 and also the 5 if we go small. Miller is more of a 3/4 forward, and he can't play the 5

Vice looks like he can play the 4 or 5, so good front court depth/insurance and given he is big enough to play a bit of D already and can hit the 3, he's a good roster builder

some highlights here including some shot blocking

More height on the roster is never a bad thing. He played wide receiver at 6'10 this past season for his high school football team.

Local news piece about him playing football: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYZeupzE0ek
