This young Jay is WAY better than his recruiting service rating. Future is bright!

looks like a pure shot-maker. spot up, pull up, off the catch, fadeaway. The type of player you can run a play for all over the court. If he adjusts to the speed and intensity of the game quickly, I could see him playing a significant role next season.

He can score at all 3 levels. Has a very good midrange game and most importantly, he is a hard worker.

Really love how smooth and fundamental he is.
He seems underrated and will create space for everyone else to operate. Hope he shows up ready to go...we need the shooting on next years team (as of today).

John Christofilis continues to be Grossly Underrated by the pundits. He is currently listed as SG #36 by Rivals.
Back in da day...January 2019, John was the 20th SG (equates to 4*, mid-80's rankings wise) by Rivals. He sustained an injury that season.
Even with his great senior season, he has not been able to overcome bias to regain his lofty perch.
https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com ... h-out-westThat said...Christofilis is STILL the best shooter in the USA. He is an excellent fit for us and will become legend on
the Hilltop. I don't give a rat's _ss what the pundits say. We picked up the best SG in the country.
