Kenny Payne is having some problems with kids decommitting from Louisville. I guess the recruits wanted to play from Mack rather than the true crapshoot of a 55 year old starting his first head coaching job. I think this was a homer bad hire.

Speaking of a big man to finish off the class...

I expect Creighton to show interest. Turnbull committed to Butler within a month of receiving an offer from them (his first offer as far as I can tell), so his recruitment ended before it really began. Jalen Courtney-Williams just started following Turnbull on Twitter.

Reed is 6’9” 220 lb PF. Could fill a void if we don’t get King (but hoping we get Fredrick King)

Lots of options...it's the wild, wild west in the transfer portal.

Creighton jumps up to #32 in Rivals recruiting after giving King a 4*
247sports hasn't recognized King in their ratings yet.

This class as a follow up to last years blockbuster was really important and the guys we got (includng Scheierman) are exactly the class that Creighton needed this year and positions us well for the future...

King - a high end Center to back up Kalkbrenner this year and if Kalkbrenner were to go pro next year a quality replacement with experience under his belt. Positions us well for at least the next 2 maybe 3 years
Shtolzberg - a tough point guard with size, handles and shooting. If you watch his highlights, he looks a bit like Colin Gillespie. I think his impact will be felt in future years, but if he's good enough to get on the court this year, we'll really have something with him.
Green - After watching his highlights again, I think he's underrated. He's got a solid offensive game, has good size and good athleticism. Another guy that I don't think finds much time this year, but he really sets up well for next year as a redshirt freshman if Kaluma leaves.

Add Scheierman and this class is a transitional class that fills all the holes for this year and creates a really good foundation for the future.

Greg and staff are really cooking right now.
