Tweet from Jake Weingarten, who runs Stockrisers:

“Florida State’s associate head coach, Stan Jones, talked with four-star junior Chandler Jackson this evening, Jackson told @Stockrisers.

The two sides are working on setting up a virtual meeting with the staff. Alabama, Creighton, among the many involved.”

https://247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/Article/Top-newcomers-to-the-class-of-2022-rankings-154193087/

Two articles talking about 2022 prospects. A few Creighton mentions:

Shaedon Sharpe
Rank: 42
Recruitment: Offers from Alabama, Cincinnati, Creighton, Oregon and Xavier.
Analysis: Sharpe currently holds five high majors and that number is likely to double in the near future. Sharpe is a great athlete who has the ability to switch momentum in a game quickly with his highlight reel dunks. Sharpe also has a good frame and excels in the pick and roll. He appears to be the latest in a growing line of Canadian players with big-time potential.

Cason Wallace
Previous Rank: 77
New Rank: 17
Recruitment: Thanks to a monster summer, Wallace has added offers from Arizona, Auburn, Creighton, Illinois, Kansas State, Mississippi State, Oklahoma and Texas Tech since June.
Why he rose: Even headed into the summer, contacts in Texas were adamant that Wallace was way underrated. His supporters in the Lone Star State talked the talk for Wallace, but he walked the walk by dominating wherever he went. A big time defender, scorer and dangerous pull-up jump shooter who can play on or off the ball, Wallace is tracking towards stardom.

Isaac Traudt
Previous rank: 90
New rank: 58
Recruitment: One of the most heavily recruited players in all of the Midwest, Traudt now has over 20 offers from programs like Creighton, Iowa, Kansas State, Louisville, Marquette, Minnesota, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Purdue and Wisconsin to name a few.
Why he rose: One of the most skilled forwards in the country, Traudt can play as a big wing or as a stretch four man. What really impressed is his ability to put the ball on the floor and create shot attempts. He’s lean, but he’s not soft.

The 3 star ranking on DJ on Rivals does not do him justice. That will change. He’s a stud with great size. And he already follows TyTy on twitter. Love to see it.

So as things sit right now, Jays are full for next year with all 13 rides taken. Possible seniors making way for the 2022 class would be Z, CB and Epp. So in my book, 3 rides max are open for this class.

Now Z may go early, Epp may get a 12th year and who knows who comes and goes but we now have a baseline and all 13 rides spoken for after this season for the first time in a long time and a projected three open spots.

What will Mac do without his pocket scholie to give to Scurry, Jett, et al??!!

What would be needed? Point guard is well covered. Wings are always in demand in this system. Traut could play multiple spots ala Mason Miller. With CB and Epp maybe going at once another post player would be important.

Epp is a wildcard. He’s certainly old enough to decide with a good season under his belt this year to head back down under and play for pay or play two years or apply for a hardship third year.

Getting Sallis this year would prove interesting.
