I carefully looked up and down this list and did not see anyone predicting any top 50 player would actually sign with CU. You can target as many top 50 players as you want, but if you don’t sign any, what good is it? Just a waste of recruiting time, effort and expense. Let’s get more realistic and efficient in our recruiting.

If our coaching staff targets a player, sees that a recruiting “expert” isn’t predicting Creighton, and then stops recruiting because of that - they should all be fired immediately.

You don't quit and give up recruiting. You always recruit up, not down, and there is no quitting. If you don't succeed, try again.

Of the 20 or so recruits CU has offered for 2020, a few of them (8) have snuck into the 247 top 50. What a unexpected, but pleasant surprise.

Don't know why you found that unexpected. Over the Mac years there have been several of our recruits that moved up in the rankings.

Recruits moving up in rankings are only unexpected by alphawait.

So for 2020 we have what... 2 open rides. Three if we hold over Martin's scholie. Jays have 15 offers out (this site), with only Morton & Strawther having committed. Varying interest in 31 others listed, including Juco Jayden Scrubb.

What are we looking for? 1 big? 2 bigs? 1 big and a wing? 9 bigs offered, a couple of PGs, the rest wings. Let's lock down a couple of these guys.
