Who is this guy? Truman St decommit and can't find him on any recruiting sites. Does this mean we are out on Enaruna or Martin coming back?

Surely a walk-on. Apparently the staff had offered that Pius kid that picked Nebraska yesterday a walk-on spot, so maybe they pulled the trigger here after that decision.

Bizarre. Hopefully this is just a walk on and not a scholarship being used.

Appears to be a 6'6" - 6'8" F out of Kansas City who was previously committed to play with his older brother at Truman State before this came out of nowhere.

Here's an article about when he committed to Truman State:

Here's his MaxPreps page with some videos:

Jon Nyatawa just confirmed that he will be a preferred walk-on.

He’s a walk-on, folks. Breathe. They’re not giving away Tristan’s spot.

Interesting addition. Definitely plays like a stretch 4. He did have D1 interest but committed to Truman.
Furman State, American University, Air Force, Cornell, Western Illinois, and Southwest Baptist have all contacted him so far.

Sit one year? Or immediately eligible?

He's just a freshman walk on, not a transfer of any sort. So I don't think he'd have any restrictions. Not uncommon for our walkons to sit, though.
