I’d be curious as to the all-time record, at any level (HS, college, WNBA, XFL, G-league, NBA, WWF), for most blocks in one game. Can it really be that many more than 15? It might be a few, but the fact that it’s a question worth asking (I think) means we have something pretty amazing coming to play the 5 at Creighton.

Benoit topped out at 12 at Creighton.

Pretty sure Wilt had 23 in a game once (someone claimed 25, but there's no film of it). But Wilt was literally on a different planet from everyone else around him!

Agree on Kalkbrenner -- this is a really special recruit for us. He can do all of the other things we want our center to do - run the floor, help out with hedging and double teaming, get to the rim on pick and rolls, AND he can shoot 3's and he can block shots like nobody we've had before...

I'm going to be patient - it's a jump to the BE, but I can't think of a better addition to this roster

411 in his career and he never played his senior year. If Ryan can even come close to that in 4 years here, I would be somewhat surprised but very happy.

If he gets 200 it would be a decent career. 411 is insane.

Just because I'm bored at work, I did some cursory research on the topic for high school athletics.

The record for most (recorded) blocked shots in a game is 26. It happened twice.

Cole Salter for Troutdale Open Door Christian Academy in Oregon in 2004
William Lee for Dallas County High School in Alabama in 2011.

Great to see Ryan at the game last night. Looking forward to seeing him in a Jays uniform (with a few extra pounds added on!).

So glad that Ryan got to be at the game last night. He's got to be so pumped to play here. I can't wait. Go Jays!
