That's the kind of thing with this staff that just leaves me shaking my head. Maybe the reports are wrong and he really wants to be an atmospheric scientist. Then we have a shot. Caveat: But of course I understand he may not have told the staff he is looking to engineering and I realize the article is geared toward Purdue fans. I hope I have to come back here and say I was wrong to doubt.

If we’ve already received an official visit and now he’s coming to visit again, I’m going to guess that his major isn’t a deal breaker.

Thats a fully loaded post. How many years is pre engineering? Would it work for all types of engineering? Why wouldn't a person go to the place that has the whole program? Could this lead to an engineering degree program? We may need a whole new off topic thread.

We currently have a 3-2 agreement with Wash. U. so we already have the pre engineering program I guess. Had to think about it. CU is starting to consider a biomedical engineering degree.

According to PrepHoops, he's cut KU. Down to us, Purdue and Stanford. I think he goes to Purdue but I'd love to be wrong.
