The Jays have a great base roster for 2017-18. Obviously another PF/C is a need.
With 2 spots open my take is to fill the biggest need. We are not "in on" the top remaining bigs in 2017, so my thought is to go All-In on Chandler, as he is a local serviceable PF/C who is the space-eater most desire...ESPN rates him at 80 which is very good. Jacob and others have informed us as to Isaiah's limitations, shortcomings, etc., but Chandler has good skills and will further develop under Coachs' tutelage.

If we get either David or Tugs fine. If we don't get either, we have a 3rd scholie for 2018.

2017 Roster (to date)
Patton/(Chandler)/other?
Hegner/Krampelj
Harrell/Thomas/Paras (Tugs/David)
Foster/Ballock/Alexander
Mintz/Joseph
Clement/Scurry

Excuse me, but I think I'll take Jacob's word (someone who has watched him for years) over the word of someone who doesn't even live in the state and recruiting websites that are completely subjective/grossly uninformed.

Thank you for your opinión. I am not endorsing either of the Nebraska HS kids mentioned for Governor, nor the Unicameral... merely offering my opinión irt Chandler since it appears we have run out of choices (thus far) for PFs or Ctrs.
ESPN rates him at 80, 247 at 82, meaning he is a good player in their opinión. Rivals has him Nr'd, Scout doesn't have him at all. I didn't dispute Jacob or anyone else's assessments of Isaiah...in fact they have done a sound job of identifying both the strengths and the weaknesses in his game. I suppose he could be compared to Lawson, AT, or Hanson at this juncture as a potential incoming raw frosh. Unless the staff pulls another rabbit out of their hats, Chandler could be a serviceable big that can develop behind Patton/Krampelj. As of now...all we have for 2017 will be Patton/Krampelj/Hegner. Thanks for listening.

While I like Chandler a lot, I will quote this earlier exchange:

Any ideas why we haven't offered him yet? (Please don't throw out the obligatory comment about grades, I'm pretty sure that's not the case.)

RE your first comment, I will say he has some work to do and leave it at that.

New 2017 CU interest at 247 is La Lu C Jacob Epperson. Seems to be from Australia but know nothing about this kid.
