Didn't I see a tweet today that Bowen said he was announcing tonight?

That was a retweet of a friends tweet---#bowenwatch2017 still in process

IUPUI major players in the Bowen sweepstakes.

Seriously though, I am sort of burned out.

For my May Day Basket, I want Bowen, a PG and a big who can play right away. Today could be the day Bowen Signs.

Going to be a loooooooong off-season if we can't land Tugs. Not much spark going into the 17-18 season. We still have bonafide guards in Marcus and Khyri who alone can probably get us to the tourney. So many question marks at all other positions. Have hope Kaleb and Mintz develop well for a deadly PG combination but our front court is worrying.

I mean a 5-star recruit can change all that into an offseason filled with hope. Please be a jay Tugs!

Tugs said he's gonna 100% choose in April.. all of you think he's gonna decide today? I hope so, but he's pushed back 3/4 times already

He retweeted someone this morning saying "Let Tugs decide on his own time sheesh"... sigh

It is painfully clear by now, we are his second choice, he will wait even beyond today to see if there is a spot for him at Arizona. How should we, the super fans of Bluejay Basketball feel about this? Accept him or say FU? Do we do as a corporation does, and go on to the next best available and no longer keep a position open for him? Do we continue to hope he comes here with the passion of a hopeful romantic?

We wait. We have three scholarships open now. We can fill two more before we have to worry about keeping one open for Bowen. We have waited this long. Let it play out.

That's bc there is a Jays fan tweets multiple times a day at him. There might be others who are fans of other schools who do the same.

I don't know if this is necessarily true. I would bet your fear of being a fall back option is shared by many Jays fans. Some national recruiting experts think Tugs may have missed his window to chose AZ. AZ is still recruiting Cam Johnson (Pit transfer) and have 2 commits for '18 at a similar position. My guess is Tugs may need help turning down his hometown school in Sparty. Hopefully he can do the same as Ballock.
