Would have been a good get, but we have bigger needs for 2016-17.

He'd be a huge addition. He's a creighton type kid, much like Kreklow. We missed on Ricky a number of times, let's hope we don't miss on Clayton.

Huh? As an insider - would you please enlighten us a bit.

especially since all the new negative nancys will be saying this is "another miss" by the Jays.

I think Custer is a good player, and would have fit in well here, just others ahead of him right now. Would have likely had to walk-on in year 1.

He should be pretty good for them. He'll be a top PG in the MVC. It would have been nice to have him but Marlon Stewart has plenty of potential and has more of a Big East body it seems like.

Still contend he's a Creighton type kid and would have been great here. Would not have gotten reps over Watson, and Jays wanted Mychal Mulder bad. Right or wrong that was the thought.

Definitely not calling you out at all, just calling out all the misses we've had at PG. Kid still has another year of eligibility next year and our PG play outside of Chatman and Mo has been underwhelming.
