Coach Mac and Rick Pitino saw him yesterday.  Sounds like we have offered along with Mizzou and Wichita.  Averages 14 ppg and shoots 45% from 3.  Leading scorer on #1 ranked juco team and is from Ontario Canada.

Scored 26 pts last night according to Brad Winston of JucoRecruiting.

Been told Mac is well impressed, as was Pitno

Louisville is definitely in need of guards.

That's what concerns me. If there is one thing Louisville needs, it's shooters; which means it's likely Pitino will put on the full court press to find one. No matter what the case, it's hard to ignore the lure of playing for a Hall of Fame coach at a blueblood program like Louisville. Hopefully Mac can find a way to show him why Creighton is the better fit.

Apparently the kid wanted to commit to Wichita last year at some point, but the JUCO coach doesn't allow them to commit before the spring. Wichita is still involved, but they are also 2 or 3 over their scholarship count and just brought in the Kansas transfer, so maybe he's opened things up again. Add in the fact that some big programs are involved and he looks like a priority target for a lot of people.

From the looks of things, he'd fit in well with us.

Could be a big get. We seem to be focusing on players at the 2 who are tall, athletic and can shoot. What a nice combination. We can certainly show that we have had great experiences with Juco's and with Canadian born players.

A few more conference wins and a good showing in the conference tournament wouldn't hurt anything.

Go Jays!!

Went off on Saturday:

JUCO recruit Mychal Mulder had 38 points in his team's first loss last night. 6-11 from three, 13-20 from field, 6 rebs, 0 TOs.

Still no offer from Louisville. Indiana, Kansas State and Michigan State now showing interest. Recent interview with Mizzou Rivals site says he wants to visit Wichita State since they were one of the first to offer and Creighton. No other schools mentioned as of yet.

I like this kid a lot. Hopefully Louisville gets distracted.
