It's going to be difficult to get players out of Wisconsin with UW being an upper tier program now, and Wojo cleaning up recruiting-wise at Marquette.

What Wojo has done since his hiring is pretty insane. I guess we'll see if he can actually coach.

I don't think we were getting to go 'last' as much as we were an also-ran to a Wisconsin based school and one with a native Wisconsin coach and as such we were a backup plan at best.

Which isn't too surprising.

So much better to lose out on targets now than have one of these strong [fill in the name of school] lean prospects keep our coaches chasing them throughout the Summer and much of the Fall.

We may only end up with a 2016 class of 2 (or even 1, though that possibility seems very remote, even if we still add another player before the start of the 15-16 year), so there should be less scrambling than we've seen during the 2015 recruiting cycle. I hope.
