2014 PF Willie Atwood

Tue Feb 04, 2014 4:16 pm

Seen recently that Jays are interested in this JUCO PF from Oklahoma.

He is currently 16th in NJCAA D1 in points per game at 21.1, and 33rd in rebounding at 9.3 per game. Atwood is shooting 58% from the field and 78% from the free throw line.

Has offers from Wichita State, Auburn, Arizona State and TCU among others. Alot of other high major interest. Interestingly enough, Trey Dickerson and him are tweeting that they are a package deal and already know where they are going and just wait......some guy on the iowa message board says it's Creighton, FWIW. I don't think we've offered either yet though...

Be very careful putting a lot of stock into what appears on a message board.

Given his history, I doubt that Coach Mac is going to let recruits dictate to him in any way, shape, or form.
